Signs of soffit and fascia damage

Look for these along your roof edge:

  • ✓ Peeling paint, soft spots or rot on fascia boards
  • ✓ Gutters pulling away from the fascia
  • ✓ Sagging, cracked or missing soffit panels
  • ✓ Water stains along the roof edge
  • ✓ Birds, bees or squirrels getting into the eaves
  • ✓ Storm damage along the eaves

Why it matters

Fascia carries the weight of your gutters and seals the roof edge. Soffit lets air into your attic so heat and moisture can escape. When either one fails, the problems spread to the roof deck, rafters and attic.

Fix the cause, not just the board

Rotted fascia is usually a symptom of overflowing gutters, missing drip edge or a leak at the eaves. We find the source, so your new soffit and fascia last.

Missouri and Illinois

Soffit and fascia work is available in both Missouri and the Illinois Metro East. Roofing is Missouri only for now (roofing coming soon after il license).

Part of a roof or gutter project

Soffit and fascia work often goes hand in hand with a new roof or new gutters. One local crew can handle all of it in the same project.

Soffit & Fascia FAQ

What's the difference between soffit and fascia?

Fascia is the board along the edge of your roof where the gutters attach. Soffit is the panel under the overhang that closes in the eaves and often has vents for your attic.

Can you replace just the damaged sections?

Often, yes. We'll show you photos of the damage and recommend repairing sections or replacing the full run, whichever makes more sense.

Why does my fascia keep rotting?

Usually water: overflowing or clogged gutters, missing drip edge, or a leak at the roof edge. We find and fix the cause so it doesn't come back.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing is available on retail projects. Ask during your free evaluation.
